Paws at Heather’s was established in 2010. The business provides high quality grooming at affordable prices by City & Guilds qualified groomers for all breeds of dog.
A pick up and drop off service can be provided within the local area, at a small additional charge, for those who find it difficult to bring their dog to be groomed themselves.
We understand that your dog is part of your family. At Paws at Heather’s each dog is treated as an individual and we aim to ensure their groom is a fun and pleasurable experience. Each dog is groomed either to breed standard, or to the owner’s requirements. We use high quality shampoos and conditioners however, if you have your own shampoo we are happy to use this for you.
We provide a range of services ranging from a simple nail trim, to a bath and blow dry, or a full groom. Hand stripping is also available where it is appropriate.
A full groom will include nails clipped, ears cleaned (and plucked where appropriate), bath and style. We will advise you if we spot any potential health issues whilst we are grooming, for example, skin rashes, strange lumps or bumps, or eye or ear infections.
If you are still unsure, you are welcome to come and meet us before making an appointment to discuss your requirements and view our salon.

"Heather has been grooming my Cockapoo Dougal over four years and always does an amazing job. She is very thorough and totally reliable. My dog loves going and tries to visit every time we walk down Conway Rd! I highly recommend her and her new member of staff Sarah." Sarah Ripley
My Bichon Frise called Meg has been visiting Heather’s salon since January. Sadly I was very poor at caring for Meg coat. From the very first visit Meg came home feeling so good, she seemed proud to be feeling so good. I love the way Heather and Sarah are able to groom Meg so she is fluffy and so soft. since the first month I have booked Meg in every three weeks, It's less stressful for all concerned and Meg feels and looks good all the time. For any owner who loves their dog and wants them feeling good go and see Heather. Sarah, Heather’s right hand woman is amazing and Belinda is a brilliant caring member of the team. I am so happy to be writing this feedback because it is so well deserved. Thank you all for giving Meg a better lifestyle.
With respect to your skills and gratitude,

"We like our spaniel Bertie to have that classic cocker look - and he gets it at Paws at Heather’s, where he's been a regular for some years now. Bertie likes the warm welcome, the expert attention, and the smart trim - and we like the very reasonable cost." Mike and Denise Henfield.
“We have used 'Paws at Heather’s’ for over 6 years and are delighted with the care and attention paid to our 'girls' and with the transformation Heather consistently manages to achieve. The only problem is that word has got around and an early booking is now essential if you want Heather to work her wonders!” Phil and Sue Cornthwaite.
